Media 2000 Weekly Meeting Format Starting the meeting: The facilitator calls each meeting to order promptly at the designated time. Each meeting starts with a call to prayer. A candle may be lit or an icon of Jesus displayed to assist in creating a prayerful atmosphere. Read a Bible passage aloud. Suggested passages: John 8:12; John 14:6 Opening Prayer: Lord Jesus, our Divine Master, You are the Way, the Truth and the Life; You are the living Word who became flesh in order to communicate the mystery of salvation to the men and women of the entire world. We ask you to send down upon us the Holy Spirit you poured out on your apostles, so that we might be filled with your wisdom and grace. We ask this through the intercession of Mary, Queen of the first apostles and of the apostles of all times, who precedes us on our journey of faith as an icon of the Church. As we draw near to the new millennium help us to irradiate by means of the Word and our life, the light of Christ our Lord in the modern world of communication. Amen.
