Sister Anne Joan Flanagan Born and raised in New Orleans, Sr. Anne went to the same high school as Sr. Margaret Charles. They weren't classmates, but they did take one class together: Creative Writing! (It was prophetic.) Sr. Anne's writing has been largely directed to children (ten years as editor of MY FRIEND Magazine) and religious educators (classroom material for various grades, as well as First Penance/First Communion and Confirmation texts). Like Sr. Julia, she's part of the FSP recording choir-and even sang for the Pope while living in Rome during the Jubilee year. O Lord, how great are your works! How deep are your designs!
