What is the heart of being a Daughter of St. Paul? To love Jesus and to love humanity as Jesus does. And for a Daughter of St. Paul this means proclaiming Jesus' love through the mass media..
--Sr. Margaret Michael, FSP

The heart of being a Daughter of St. Paul is just that, hearty being. In seeking and exploring and pursuing this vocation, I find that at the core of mission, we are given life to give others life. The event of Jesus' Incarnation gifted humanity with the concrete communication of God's life, an expression of God's love and mercy. Jesus' entire human existence is a communication of divine life, culminating in his resurrection which reveals the triumph of Life (that is true and eternal) over sin and death. Communication is our life, and Life is communication. Daughters of St. Paul have hearts that seek God. Transformed in this relationship, they become the communication of the Trinity who gives us life so that others may have life to the full.
--Sr. Donna Jean K, fsp

A Daughter of St. Paul's heart is that of Jesus, embracing every person on the face of the earth. She prays and offers her life that all people will be able one day to enjoy his presence in heaven.
--Sr. Caroline Tessa, fsp

Communication. (As the Peruvian Episcopal Conference says, communication is love.)
--Sr. Helena Raphael, fsp

At the heart of my vocation as a Daughter of St. Paul, I find a passion, a fire, to live in deep communion with Christ and through my life and my mission, to be a bridge between Christ and the men and women of today who are crying out for meaning, for Love, for Truth. Without Christ, my life has no purpose. Belonging totally to Christ through my consecrated religious life, I continually find new meaning, and am led on a daily journey towards freedom from myself, so that my life can be a communication of Christ.

--Sr. Carmen Christi, fsp

A Daughter of St Paul's center is knowing that she is loved by God with a boundless love-and she desires not only to return this love, but to share it with everyone through the Gospel message.
-- Sr. Margaret Charles, fsp

I think St. Paul actually gives every Daughter of St. Paul a portion of his own heart by which each of us is able to embrace the whole world. It's not a perfect world, for it is broken and torn by war, jealousy, and fear. This world that we all are a part of needs the message of hope and the deep understanding that God loves each one of us and calls us to be servants of each other, beginning with the person standing right beside us.

We are called to be vessels of this immense divine Love to a world yearning (perhaps without even understanding the reason for its yearning) and waiting for Jesus, the Lamp Lighter, to come and engulf us with his everlasting life.

A Daughter of St. Paul's heart-in the words of a Christian singer who has often inspired me-is fixed on God, our One Thing, who transforms the beating of our heart, bringing to life God's Word. So whether we are sent to the far corners of the world or just next door, we pray that in every footstep there may be a grace for today's generations and those of the future.

We are all wayfarers on the journey and together we are headed Home-the Kingdom promised to all of us, where the baby will actually play by the cobra's den, grabbing onto the lion's mane and the elephant's tale. We are the announcers of this Fantastic Day!
-- Sr. Ann Richard, fsp

The heart of a Pauline religious is that of an evangelizer whose deepest desire is to let the Good News of Jesus Christ permeate all that she is and does.
