Remembering Sr. Attilia.

We will always remember our dear Sr. Attilia for her wondrous laughter
and joy. She was awaiting this year's retreat with special anticipation.
She loved the theme of the retreat, "With Jesus among the Lampstands,"
referring to the quote from Revelation. Though she is not here to
make this retreat with her fellow sisters, we know that she is walking
with Jesus now, and can intercede for us.

This is one of the first pictures of Sr. Attilia after she had
made her religious profession. Sr. Attilia is in the second row,
the first sister on the left. Many remarked at how much she resembled
Mother Thecla, our Co-Foundress, who in this picture is seated in
the front row in the middle.

to celebrate her Golden Jubilee.

Sr. Attilia shared her Golden Jubilee celebration with Sr. Natalie,
a Sister Disciple of the Divine Master (another congregation in
the Pauline Family). They had made their novitiate together in Rome
50 years ago, and both of them preserved the joy of following the
Divine Master through five decades of religious life.

we often heard her praying (and worrying) for their well-being.
