Rest Awhile and Be Consoled
Pray over words of Christ and Scripture.

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd;
nothing do I want.
He makes me lie down in pastures of verdant grass,
he guides me along soothing streams.
He refreshes my soul.
He leads me along paths of righteousness
for the sake of his name.
I fear no evil even when I go through a dreary rift-valley,
because you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they hearten me.
You spread the table before me in the face of my foes;
you have anointed my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
May only bliss and loving kindness
be with me all the days of my life,
and may I dwell in the house of the LORD for long days to come.
