Feast of Mary, Mother of God

Eight days after Christmas, the Church honors Mary. Her son Jesus is truly God the Father's eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity. This is why Mary really is the Mother of God. This feast helps us to remember how great Jesus our Savior is and how special his mother Mary is.
