EAK Juan Diego was a Christian Indian in Mexico. Mary came to him with a message of comfort for the poor. As a sign that it was really her message, Mary told Juan Diego to gather some roses into his tunic and bring them to the bishop. When Juan Diego unfolded the tunic, Mary's picture was on it! Juan Diego's tunic still bears the beautiful image of Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and can be found in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
