Angels in the Outfield

Did you ever wish for something very special and with God’s help, have it come true?

In this movie, Roger is an 11-year-old who loves the California Angels baseball team. Roger lives with a foster family. His foster brother is J.P.

Roger prays for two things. First, he prays for his father to come home. Then he prays for the California Angels to win the pennant. At one game, Roger sees real angels helping out the California Angels to play better.

Knox, the team’s coach, believes that Roger really sees the angels. Knox and Roger become good friends. Roger continues giving tips to the team with the help of the real angels from above.

Knox decides to adopt Roger, and Roger’s father accepts this because he knows that Knox will take care of the boys.

Roger learns that God does answer prayers when we pray with faith.

Angels in the Outfield teaches us that anything can happen with the grace of God and that we should never give up believing in God.

This movie is good for families because it teaches a whole lot of love, commitment and tolerance.
