Spy Kids Reviewed by Lisa and Jim Davis Spy Kids is an adventure movie about a girl named Carmen and her younger brother, Juni. They are average kids who go undercover to save their parents. When a mad scientist and TV personality, Fegan Floop, and his evil assistant, Minion, kidnap their secret-spy parents, Carmen and Juni set out to save them. Floop and his assistant, Minion, have created a television show for kids. The characters are based on real people that Floop keeps in a prison on an island. The people are transformed into weird looking monsters. He wants to rule the world and make a lot of money. When the parents of Carmen and Juni are sent to stop the evil Floop, they are discovered and captured. In order to find and save their parents, Carmen and Juni have to follow clues and outwit Floop’s soldiers. The kids have to think of innovative solutions and use sophisticated gadgets. With the help of others, especially their uncle, the kids accomplish their difficult task! SPY KIDS shows us how our true love for our family is sometimes not appreciated until an event occurs that tests the family bond. This is a great movie for families of any age.
