Toy Story 2

By Jimmy Davis

If you’ve already seen Toy Story, you are going to love this sequel. Toy Story 2 continues the story of Andy who has a lot of toys. His favorite toy is Woody, the cowboy. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are good friends.

When Andy goes to camp his mom has a yard sale and Woody ends up as one of the items for sale. Woody gets toy-napped by a greedy collector named Al. He wants to complete his collection of toys from the old television show called "Woody’s Round Up" and sell it to a museum in Japan.

Woody’s toy friends all come to help rescue him. When he meets the other toys from the old television show, he has to decide if he wants to stay with them or go with his friends. Woody and his toy friends have all kinds of adventures before they all end up together in Andy’s bedroom.

Toy Story 2 teaches us that it is always better to be sincere, calm and generous instead of mean and greedy. This is because greed can make us do things that hurt others and ourselves.
