The beauty of creation can take your breath away! But creation is a mere fraction of the eternal Beauty of God. In heaven we will forever behold the dramatic beauty of the Source of all that exists. Our life on earth is a preparation for this joy of heaven. God draws us to himself here and now especially through the beautiful things around us. When we recognize something beautiful, it is just a taste of what eternity will be like. So take some time to notice the beauty around you! It may be in simple things like a flower, a sunset, a good friend, music, fresh air. Perhaps you could visit an art museum and look for a particularly awesome painting that attracts your attention. The more you look at it, the more you will see in. We also need to be open to the beauty of God’s face reflected on those we love. Love is the most beautiful of all expressions. When we love, beauty shines out of us toward others. So, sit back and take in a little beauty each day!
