Have you ever had a time when you felt very loved by someone special in your life? Have you ever felt that you could explode with love for someone? God feels that way all the time. God is all-loving.

There is absolutely no one on earth who is outside of God’s loving embrace. God never gets tired of loving his creation. He created us, each one of us, out of his great love. Even when we forget God, or even offend him, God doesn’t stop loving us. He waits for us to come back to him. No one can ever destroy God’s love. At times we can be unloving. Maybe we talk back, or lie, or disobey. It is then that God calls us back to him. He opens his arms to hold us when we say we’re sorry. God never holds a grudge or rejects us. God’s love is so great that sin can never cast a shadow on his love. God knows our weakness and he loves us so much that forgiveness is ours as soon as we ask. St. John tells us, "God is Love!" When we love, we are acting as true children of God. Love is the greatest virtue and it is found totally in God. Our God is awesome!
