There are times when we feel very alone. Maybe our family has moved to a new city, or we changed schools, or we lost someone in death. We wonder if God is there for us. A certain truth of our faith is that God is all-present.

There is no place where God is not! Can we imagine this? He is present to a kid in China who has to travel miles on foot to school. He is present at the North Pole where almost no one lives. He is present in Africa where many children grow up in poverty. God is present everywhere! Every place on earth is important to him. And if astronauts go to outer space, God is present there, too. He created outer space! God keeps all that he has created close to his heart. Only God can be all places at once! He is present with you and at the same time present to a kid praying to him in Russia. Does he get mixed up? Never. All of his creation put together everywhere can’t equal how great God is! His presence everywhere is a mystery. He holds everything, everywhere, in existence. God, how great you really are!
